We reserve the right to transfer any information to our successors in business and purchasers of Site, Service or Product assets or a particular division or line of business. We also reserve the right to access and/or disclose any information as required by courts or administrative agencies and to the extent necessary to permit us to investigate suspected fraud, harassment or other violations of any law, rule or regulation, the Site rules or policies, or the rights of third parties or to investigate any suspected conduct which 1000 Buddhas deems improper. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

How We Use Your Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We may share non-personally identifiable information with third parties for any number of reasons, including advertising, promotional and/or other purposes.

Right to Access and/or Take Your Data: you may contact 1000 Buddhas to request a copy of your personal data and can ask for a copy of personal data be provided in machine readable form. WordPress

Blogs

Our Web site offers publicly accessible blogs. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Contact forms

Personal data is captured when a user submits a contact form. We keep contact form submissions for an indefinite time period for customer service purposes, but do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

Cookies

We may use cookies and similar technologies to collect non personally identifiable information from you and to customize your use of the Site. A cookie is a small file that is placed on your hard drive that enables us to analyze our web page effectiveness and identify you with the corresponding data that we have in our database. 1000 Buddhas reserve the right to retain cookie data indefinitely.

We may also use web bugs, clear gifs and similar technologies that collect data similar to that collected by a cookie. A cookie file can contain various types of information, including a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you have visited. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies; however, you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent or you can flush your browser of cookies from time to time.

If you choose to disable cookies or refuse to accept a cookie, you may not be able to utilize all features of the Site. At times, some of our advertisers and their ad service providers set cookies when you click their advertising banners. While we use cookies in other parts of the Site (as discussed above), cookies received with banner ads are collected by those advertisers and their ad service providers. The advertiser’s privacy policy and/or that of its service provider will govern the use of this information and 1000 Buddhas is not responsible for the privacy practices of such advertiser or ad service provider.

Web Beacons

Web pages may contain electronic images (called a “single-pixel GIF” or “web beacon”) that allow a web site to count users who have visited that page or to access certain cookies. We use web beacons to track the effectiveness of a promotional campaign and to transfer an individual’s unique user identification (often in the form of a cookie) and associate your updated information into our database. Our practice is to include web beacons in HTML-formatted email messages (messages that include graphics) that we send directly or through third parties in order to determine, among many other items, which email messages were opened and to note whether a message was acted upon. In general, any electronic image viewed as part of a web page, including an ad banner, can act as a web beacon. 1000 Buddhas reserve the right to retain Web Beacon data indefinitely.

Google Analytics

These cookies are set by Google Universal Analytics. They are used to calculate visitor, session and campaign data for the Sites’ analytics reports. The default lifespan of the cookie is <1 hour – 2 years.

Wordfence

To help you understand which cookies the Wordfence plugin sets, we have provided the guide below. wfwaf-authcookie-(hash) This cookie is used by the Wordfence firewall to perform a capability check of the current user before WordPress has been loaded. This is only set for users that are able to log into WordPress. This cookie allows the Wordfence firewall to detect logged in users and allow them increased access. It also allows Wordfence to detect non-logged in users and restrict their access to secure areas. The cookie also lets the firewall know what level of access a visitor has to help the firewall make smart decisions about who to allow and who to block.

YouTube

Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube is used to help make our website appealing. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. Google Web Fonts

For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google.
